Children's Interior Designer from Hide & Sleep, Jacinda Malloy, shares her favourite shoptrawl picks...
As you can see from my selection of products I love natural wood with white and tan. I see so many colours when designing kids' rooms that when I am away from work I am attracted to a natural, organic palette.
When I was asked to select my Top 12 products, I thought about selecting products for kids' rooms but was so excited to see all the beautiful clothing, jewellery, and homewares that I then decided to pick for ME.
I wanted to show you what Jacinda Malloy the person loves, as opposed to Jacinda the kids interior designer. Everyday I share kids' products so it was so refreshing to be able to choose what I would love to wear and have in my own home.
Thanks shoptrawl for asking me, I was overwhelmed with the beautiful products you have on offer.
JACINDA'S WISHLIST
Baggu Leather Bag - Brown at The Flock. Some women love shoes, but I am bag lady. Give me a bag over shoes any day of the week. I am particularly partial to this leather brown bag which is a great size for everyday use and looks smart but casual.
Flora Mandal by Senso Sandals at Fluro Junkie are perfect summer sandals. The white will go with everything I own and perfect with shorts or dresses. Simple and stylish.
The Horse Watch at Cranmore Home has been on my wish list forever. It's so inexpensive I don't know why I haven't purchased it. I love the classic design the leather band and rose gold face. Think I will add to cart now!
Cassius Eyewear - Tange at Cassius Eyewear Co. I lose sunglasses all the time. I am off to Byron Bay in October and these would be my must have Byron accessory. Love the colour and shape and found it hard to pick from the Cassius range but I guess because I lose them all the time, I should put a couple on my wishlist.
The Unforgiven Leather Dress at Celeste Tesoriero is sexy. I don't normally wear sexy clothes but this leather dress would look great dressed down with the Flora Mandal sandals and Cassius Sunglasses. The low back is also appealing, and black, well, you can't go wrong with a little black dress, especially in leather.
Stripe Luau Super Pocket at Kawaiian Lion is another accessory I want to take to Byron with me. I would use this as purse to carry small change but it's also big for me to carry a book and still look stylish.
Bobo Choses Small Stripes Tote Bag at Hipkin. My best friend owns Hipkin and it's an online shop I love. I love Hipkin's range of kidswear and have had my eye on this bag for a while. Sometimes I just need a bag to carry my keys, purse and library book. This bag would carry all 3 and is in colours that I love.
OYOY Pif Paf Puf Hanging bowls at designstuff. I just bought an apartment this year and NEED these in my bathroom. I love indoor plants and these would look amazing with some greenery in them, brightening up my bathroom.
Orange wool and velvet Throw at Cranmore Home. This throw would be my favourite item on my list. The wool texture is divine and the orange velvet trim makes it even more appealing. I am addicted to throw rugs and believe you can never have too many, especially when you live in Melbourne.
OYOY Rabbit at designstuff. Quirky decorations are a must have in my home. I love this wooden rabbit as he is so cute and well made. I can see him sitting on my kitchen window sill overlooking my courtyard.
Wire Baskets at The Foxes Den. So many things I could do with these cool vintage looking wire baskets. I could keep my magazines in them, roll my towels and keep them in my bathroom, use them outdoors in the garden to store plants, the options are endless and I love that they are available in 2 different sizes.
Fuers Heim Snake Clothes rail at The Foxes Den. I want one of these clothes rails to hang in my bathroom. I think it would be really cool to hang the clothes I am going to wear for the day on these wooden beads. Maybe then the steam from the shower would also mean I don't have to iron. Win win...
